The guys didn’t have a curfew but the girls did. The guys would take their girlfriends home to meet the curfew and then go back to the parties. Some of the girls would sneak out, though, and in the Nurses’ Residence, well, that was interesting because it was just under construction and there were a lot of ladders around. So the girls would go in the front door, sign in with the supervisor, and then we’d use the ladders to get them out. Plus there were plywood doors because of the construction, and they were so easy to get through.
