"NURSING EDUCATION" - DECEMBER 12, 1969

In a two-page spread, The Gateway explored whether or not nurses were cheap labour. The vice-
president of the Alberta Association of Students advocated fundamental changes in how nurses were educated. She wanted “an effective student voice, both for education and living arrangements, a student bill of rights, [and] abolition of Nursing residences so that [nursing students could ] live in the community with other students.”
